The Underslept Gossip

Thomas Vermaelen and Wojciech Szczesny out of Arsenal, who target £30m Isco. Hmmm. And a 'fire sale' at Everton.

@Gab1965 - interesting thoughts and I see what you mean. Although would seem a bit defeatist to sell off your two best players and set the average benchmark for the team lower.

Wenger should just go and offer Brendan Rodgers 35 million for Andy Carroll, just to shut everyone up. CamberleyGooner - makes sense to me, those two players are too good for the team and will want out eventually, and the money they raise will create a better balanced team. When your star player is a left back and you are 7th in the league, you might as well get what you can for him and get a better striker or centre back, etc.

Wot no Rooney story today? Juventus haven't been linked with him yet so surely it's their turn

Whats this BS? TV & Szczes out??? Makes no sense at all & why are we constantly being linked with these attacking midfielders, didnt we just purchase one? We need a FWD, DMC & CB (in priority order) & preferably a winger that likes to beat the full and cross the ball. Saldado/ Lewandowksi, Fellaini, Wanyama, Bender/ Subotic. Then maybe if we have any money left Isco.

cant help but notice how you always say something along the lines of 'we dont normally turn to the metro but...' then quote their stories about 4 days out of 7 in this column

Why would Everton want to sell Fellaini and Baines to get money in order to rebuild the team? They'd be hard-pressed to bring in two players of the same quality. Surely Moyes has more savvy than this story suggests.
