Real 'convinced' they'll get Suarez, Gundogan available for £25million, Herrara staying put and so is Morata...
MOYES WANTS FABREGAS AND FELLAINI
Well, this one could run and run.
After widespread reports on Monday that Manchester United had made a £25m-odd bid for Cesc Fabregas, the papers this morning are also full of said reports.
However, more interesting is talk of another midfield target - or, perhaps more accurately, an additional midfield target.
The Daily Mirror reports that Marouane Fellaini is David Moyes' back-up should the big for Fabregas fails, but The Guardian claims the United manager wants them both.
The paper claims: 'Moyes has identified the need for two midfielders, at least one of whom must be able to contribute goals, which Fábregas has proved he can do in the Premier League when at his former club, Arsenal. Fellaini also has an eye for goal; he scored 12 times for Everton last season.
'Moyes considered Real Madrid's Luka Modric before deciding on lodging an official offer for the former Arsenal captain.'
The Sun reports that, contrary to popular wisdom/logic, Fabregas would be keen on a move to United.
But what of Arsenal? According to The Daily Star, Arsene Wenger doesn't want to bring Cescy back, preferring to trouser the sell-on fee they will get from any sale to United.
And a single tear rolls gently down the collective Gooner cheek.
HIGUAIN INCLUDED A SUAREZ BID
Interesting one in The Daily Mirror. Well, interesting for anyone that wasn't following the Transfer Blog yesterday, which had this story (from Marca we believe).
The paper reports that Liverpool are 'braced' for a bid from Real Madrid for Luis Suarez - specifically of about £10million plus Gonzalo Higuain.
However, The Mirror claims: 'But the opening gambit from Real, which could arrive as early as Tuesday, is seen both as an initial testing of the waters and as a shot across the bows of Arsenal, who have muddied the waters in recent days with their own apparent interest in Suarez.'
For the record, Liverpool 'will turn such a proposal down flat', according to the paper.
BENTEKE WANTS TO HURRY THINGS ALONG
Asking Spurs to hurry up when they're negotiating for a player might be a touch optimistic, but you can see why Christian Benteke is keen to get things moving.
The Daily Mirror reports that Benteke wants Spurs to 'step up' their bids for him because 'he doesn't want to go back to Aston Villa this week'.
Apparently the opening bid from Spurs will be £20million, but Aston Villa are holding out for something closer to £25million.
HULL MAKE SOME MOVES
Couple of potentially quite interesting moves afoot at Hull.
The Sun reports that Steve Bruce is keen on bringing Adel Taarabt for their Premier League campaign, a move that the paper rather uncharacteristically undersells as 'a gamble'.
The paper claims: 'The Tigers want Taarabt on either a season-long loan or a permanent deal - while relegated Rangers want him off their wage bill and are ready to ditch the £50,000-a-week star following last week's bust-up with boss Harry Redknapp.'
Meanwhile, The Times suggests Hull could be in for Danny Graham, whose move to Sunderland has not gone according to plan.
And The Daily Mail says they're set to make a £3.5m bid for 25-year-old Evian striker Yannick Sagbo.
One man they won't be signing is Nicklas Bendtner, with the deal too dear for Bruce.
"Nicklas Bendtner, without question, has got huge talent, but he might just be too expensive," Bruce said.
