Real 'convinced' they'll get Suarez, Gundogan available for £25million, Herrara staying put and so is Morata...
ROONEY'S £80M PRICE
Obviously he wouldn't actualy cost £80m, but the papers do like to add up every number to come up with the highest posisble figure. So that's £80m - £28m for the transfer fee and £52m for a five-year deal worth about £200,000 a week. And that's in The Sun, who report that 'the Londoners are on red alert after the Rooney camp last night made it clear their man wants OUT of Old Trafford'.
So how much does Rooney want out? Enough to hand in a transfer request, says the Daily Mail. They claim that 'if United decide to let him leave, they would prefer not to sell to a domestic rival. They have already discussed the possible scenarios and believe that out of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, the French champions would be their preferred buyer'. Hmmm. But the general consensus is that he wants to join Chelsea so it's impasse time.
BARCA WILL SELL FABREGAS
They seem pretty confident over at the Daily Mirror. They claim that 'Barcelona are prepared to sell Cesc Fabregas - but it will take a club record bid from Manchester United to make it happen'. That club record bid wil be £31m, apparently, with both clubs willing to do business at that price. Barca boss Tito Vilanova may have said that the Spaniard wants to stay but the Mirror claim that 'the player is said, privately, to be open to the prospect of moving back to the Premier League with United, should an agreement be reached with Barca over a fee'.
SUAREZ AGENT WANTS £40M BID
We really can't see that bid coming from Arsenal but Luis Suarez's agent is apparently desperate for a club to bid £40m for the Uruguayan because he believes that will trigger a release clause. There is some debate about the nature of this clause though - according to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are apparently convinced that 'they only have to listen to offers for Suarez at £40m; the feeling is that it would take a fee of around £50m to buy the Uruguayan'.
Fun times ahead. But only if somebody can scrape together £40m.
