Moyes wants Everton at United, Barca in with English clubs for Guarin, Fabianski weighing up a Champions League move (what's to 'weigh up?) and more...
UNITED BACK FOR FELLAINI
David Moyes is confident that Manchester United will actually sign someone by the end of August, and The Daily Mirror thinks it knows who that someone will be.
The paper claims United have basically given up on Cesc Fabregas, and will instead turn their attentions to Marouane Fellaini. Or back to Marouane Fellaini, depending on who you believe.
The Mirror reports: 'United boss Moyes has returned to Everton, the club he left for the champions last month, for the Belgium midfielder - who has had a £23.5million buy-out clause allowing him to move to a Champions League club this summer.
'However, it is understood that United's valuation is not as high as that, so the clubs could be set for a tussle over his services even though Moyes is desperate to strengthen his midfield.'
BARCA IN FOR LUIZ. AGAIN
Ah, this again.
There are reports in Spain claiming that David Luiz is actually in talks with Barcelona, while reports a little closer to home don't quite go that far.
The Sun does claim Barca will make a bid for him, however - and a bid of £35million, too.
They claim the deal is more likely to happen because Luiz has apparently been withdrawn from a friendly against Real Madrid.
We're just the messengers, here. Don't shoot us.
According to The Daily Mail, Wayne Rooney will look further afield if he can't get his move to Chelsea.
Apparently Rooney will submit a transfer request this week in order to force the move through, but with United reluctant to sell to Chelsea, he might have to move to 'Foreign'.
The paper claims: 'It is understood that Rooney is not so desperate to leave that he will simply go anywhere but he would happily move his wife Colleen and two young children to the continent if a good offer meant he could escape what he now sees a pretty intolerable situation at Old Trafford.'
A NEW BALE CANDIDATE
We'll try to steer clear of Gareth Bale today, but The Daily Express does report that Spurs have another man in mind to replace him.
Alvaro Vadillo is the man, apparently, with reports in Spain (Marca) claiming Andre Villas-Boas has identified the Real Betis winger as a possible signing.
However, Betis president Miguel Guillen said: "The club's intention is that Vadillo shall stay at Betis. For us to allow our young prodigy to depart, there would have to be a very strong financial benefit for the club.
"Vadillo has a great future in front of him, and we are very excited thinking about what he is going to bring to us during this coming season."
