Ashley Young and Anderson first out in January, Falcao for Chelsea and Lassana Diarra for Arsenal or City...
ARSENAL IN FOR BENZEMA & DI MARIA
Those of us who have been scathing of Arsenal's transfer summer might look slightly silly (only slightly, mind) if this comes off.
The BBC, along with a couple of papers, report that Arsenal are set to make a move for Real Madrid pair Karim Benzema and Angel di Maria, as the Spanish giants desperately try to find some money to pay for the Gareth Bale deal.
The Beeb claims Arsenal could spend up to £100million before the transfer window closes a week Monday, reporting: 'The Gunners are prepared to pay £40m for 25-year-old France striker Benzema after missing out on Gonzalo Higuain and Liverpool's Luis Suarez.
'Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger also wants Argentina left winger Di Maria, 25, and is understood to be chasing a keeper and a defensive player as well.'
Meanwhile, Wenger has finally given up on signing Luis Suarez, saying there is 'absolutely no chance' of that deal happening now.
Also, The Independent reports that PSG could out-bid Arsenal for Yohan Cabaye, while The Times reckons the Gooners could re-sign Mathieu Flamini, who has been training with them.
£93m PLUS COENTRAO FOR BALE
We're sure you already know this, but it seems the Gareth Bale deal is pretty much done, with £93million and Fabio Coentrao going the other way.
Well, we say £93million. It might be 93million Euros. And that might include Coentrao.
Dunno. Don't ask us.
LIVERPOOL CLOSE ON HUGHES
Interesting story doing the rounds in a few papers, with reports that Liverpool are set to sign promising Derby midfielder Will Hughes for £10million.
The Independent reports that Liverpool are close to sealing a deal for Hughes that will take him back to the Championship side on loan.
The paper claims: 'Hughes has been watched extensively over the last six months by Liverpool's chief scout, Barry Hunter. The teenager's performances have merited the attention of all the leading Premier League clubs, including Manchester City and Arsenal, but it is Liverpool who are prepared to pay the premium price for an English talent and leave him at his current club to develop for another year.'
Meanwhile, The Daily Mirror reports that Liverpool have turned down a £10million bid from Napoli for Mrtn Skrtl.
ROONEY COULD GO
The Daily Mirror reports that Chelsea have been given hope of signing Wayne Rooney, after apparently being told that Manchester United will sell if they can find a replacement for him.
The paper claims: 'Moyes though, knows he can't allow one of his biggest stars to leave before he has a marquee signing lined up to appease the fans and offer a serious declaration of intent.
'The problem though, is two-fold. The Scot has failed in a succession of bids to get new signings in, the latest becoming an embarrassment when Everton called the slightly bizarre £28m double offer for Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini "derisory and an insult".
'Moyes is preparing another, improved bid for the pair, but he also wants an attacking midfielder who can play in the role he planned for Rooney -behind Robin van Persie.'
Perhaps this is the true motivation behind Jose Mourinho saying Chelsea won't make another move for Rooney until after the two sides face each other on Monday.
