City to make £40m move for Manuel Neuer to replace Hart, Arsenal in for Coleman, Berba could leave Fulham...
ADEBAYOR TO BE LOANED OUT
Andre Villas-Boas isn't keen to let Emmanuel Adebayor near the Spurs team, but according to The Daily Mirror he isn't keen to let him rot in the reserves either.
The paper says Villas-Boas is willing to let Adebayor out on loan, as much to keep him in the 'shop window' as much as anything, and there's an obvious place for him to go.
The Mirror reports: 'Harry Redknapp's QPR are first in the queue , but the north London club will not do them any favours unless they offer to pay a big chunk of Adebayor's £160,000-a-week wages.
'Other Championship sides have inquired, with Owen Coyle's Wigan keen if Togo striker Adebayor is prepared to move from London.'
Harry, so public spirited.
ARSENAL & CITY IN FOR VALDES
We're going to have another nine-odd months of this, so we'd get used to it if we were you.
The Daily Star reports that both Arsenal and Manchester City are keen on Victor Valdes, after the Barcelona keeper reiterated his desire to leave the Nou Camp after the end of this season.
Valdes said at the weekend: "Always I am a professional.
"I have spoken with the club without problems but my choice has not changed - I am happy for this season and after, I leave.
"I do not need to add more quotes."
RONALDO PAID A F*CK LOAD
Details are emerging of Cristiano Ronaldo's new contract at Real Madrid, which doesn't seem to be quite as much about the money as being a p*ssing contest against Gareth Bale.
According to The Daily Mail, Ronaldo's deal is worth 'almost twice as much' as Bale's. Yeesh.
The Mail claims: 'Under the new agreement, which scuppers any immediate hope Manchester United have of persuading their former player to return, Ronaldo will earn a remarkable £15million a year after tax and before bonuses, or £288,000 a week, dwarfing Bale's annual £8.3m.
'The contract is a clear indication that Ronaldo remains the main man at the Bernabeu - despite Bale's world-record £86m move from Tottenham Hotspur. '
MACHEDA OFF TO DONNY?
There was some talk in our Mailbox last week about the whereabouts of Federico Macheda. People were worried. There was even a 'diary' found on a Manchester tram. It was all very touching.
However, according to The Doncaster Free Press, Macheda is set to sign for Doncaster on loan.
Donny manager Paul Dickov 'refused to comment' on reports that a move was imminent, apparently.
Just to clarify further... unless you've seen his contract, none of us actually have an effing clue what Adebayor is being paid at Spurs.- ejg
