Man United to bid £30m for Lallana and Shaw, Tim Sherwood in the dark about his future and Mathieu for Spurs.
IT'S MILAN v LIVERPOOL FOR PASTORE
Liverpool cannot get enough creative midfielders, it seems.
According to TalkSport (yeah yeah), Brendan Rodgers and his merry men are sniffing around superfluous PSG playmaker Javier Pastore, after missing out on Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Willian in the summer.
However, don't start swooning yet, Scousers - according to the website of the shouty radio station, AC Milan want to bring him back to Italy.
PSG are apparently willing to sell the Argentinean because: 'Pastore's displays in a two-season spell at Palermo earned him a £37m move to PSG in 2011, and although he has impressed in spells, his future in the French capital has been subject to speculation in recent weeks.
'He has started only five of PSG's eight league fixtures this term and failed to make Laurent Blanc's match-day squad for their opening Champions League group stage match against Olympiakos.'
CITY WANTED CAVANI
A ghost of Gossip Columns past now, as Aurelio De Laurentiis tells us that Manchester City tried to sign Edinson Cavani in the summer.
"Cavani, Manchester City visited me in Rome," explained De Laurentiis on Sky Sports News.
"But they just offered, I don't remember exactly but around 35 million [euros] so I didn't accept - there was a high level of interest."
So now you know.
UNITED KEEN ON CARVALHO?
Not that Carvalho, silly - William Carvalho, the Sporting Lisbon midfielder.

PREM INTEREST IN HAMAD
How much do you believe the word of agents? And agents quoted in The Daily Star?
Well, one of those creatures is quoted in this morning's Daily Star, with Mr Ferhat Cifci saying of his client, Swedish midfielder Jiloan Hamad:
"There are four clubs in England's Premier League who are showing great interest in Jiloan,"
"There is also interest from clubs in Germany and France, but Jiloan's first choice is to play in the Premier League.
"He is a free agent in January and he is one of the best Bosman signings around and we are working on that at this time."
Those clubs, according to the paper, include Fulham, Norwich and West Ham.
