Real 'convinced' they'll get Suarez, Gundogan available for £25million, Herrara staying put and so is Morata...
AGUERO ON REAL'S LIST
Carlo Ancelotti has not made the most auspicious of starts at Real Madrid, and The Observer claims that the club will once again look to flex their financial guns in January.
The paper believes that one time Atletico striker Sergio Aguero is their prime transfer target, despite the player himself insisting that he is happy with life at Eastlands.
'Agüero remains their first choice to strengthen the striking options of Carlo Ancelotti, which comprise only Karim Benzema and 20-year-old Alvaro Morata,' is the Observer's argument, failing to mention a certain chap by the name Cristiano Ronaldo.
In fairness, Real wanting the Argentinean is highly likely. It's whether they will actually be able to sign him that remains the sticking point.
PSG MAKE IT MATA
The Mirror this morning lead with claims that Juan Mata could well be seen skipping around Paris next year, with Paris St Germain ready to offer £35million. That's an awful lot for a backup no. 10.
PSG were rumoured to have made a late approach for ol' Johnny Kills in the summer, and it appears that the uncertainty over Mata's future will only tempt them further to make a bid.
I think we can all agree that it would be a damn shame to see him go.
MOYES TO RENEW BAINES INTEREST
You may have heard already that David Moyes was reasonably interested in bringing Leighton Baines to Manchester United this summer, and the Mail on Sunday believe that continued absence is making the heart grow fonder.
The paper reckon that Moyes will step up his bid for the left-back with a £15million price augmented by throwing in Antonio Valencia into the mix.
This cynic remains unconvinced that such a bid would persuade Everton to sell such a prized asset, but it would at least start the bidding for a player that The People believe is also interesting Tottenham, a side that could certainly do with a full back of such class.
AND THE REST
Paris Saint-Germain will make a final bid to nab Arsene Wenger... Alharbi El-Jadeyaoui says Arsenal snubbed him because he isn't a star name... Fabian Delph is in line for a new contract at Aston Villa... QPR have launched a loan bid for out-of-favour Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne... Carl Fletcher is eyeing a comeback and is currently training with Bournemouth... Werder Bremen striker Aaron Hunt has put Stoke on red alert by revealing he is weighing up his future... David Silva is high on Real Madrid's hit-list as they look to replace Mesut Ozil... Manchester's big two are ready to go head-to-head in a bid to land PSV Eindhoven star Zakaria Bakkali... Southampton, Fulham and West Brom are all keeping tabs on highly-rated Ipswich full-back Aaron Cresswell
If United are going to do it properly, then Moyes needs to forget about Baines and anyone else a bit too old in tooth, and go longer term. This team needs a complete refresh, getting younger and faster, not all at once, but over he next couple of years. As has been said elsewhere, if Moyes isn't attractive to the very best players, then develop some younger ones. Get proper young talent in, teach them what United are about, and while Evra etc, can still move, bed them in. There is talent in the youth and reserves already, lets find out a bit more about them.- jack sparrow
