Chelsea on 'red alert' for Rooney, Carvalho for United, Toivonen for Liverpool and Ince/Lamela Spurs nonsense...
MOYES NOT KEEN ON YOUNG, ANDERSON, NANI AND...RAFAEL?
Well, this is a weird story in The Sun.
They report that David Moyes has been unimpressed with a few members of his squad, which isn't especially surprising as there's a fair amount to be unimpressed at, but what is surprising is the identity of one of these players.
The paper claims four men are 'under threat' after Moyes decided he wasn't keen - Ashley Young (yep), Anderson (that checks out), Nani (perhaps a touch harsh but he's had a lot of chances) and Rafael (are you quite mad?).
Rafael! The paper reckons Moyes is keen to 'address the weaknesses' of his squad come January, and that could involve shipping out those who he deems not good enough.
Apparently Moyes is 'not totally convinced' by Rafael, with his performance against Real Sociedad in particular a source of ire.
CHELSEA IN FOR ALONSO
This is one that pops up every week or so, and it's The Sun's turn today.
They report that Chelsea want to bring Xabi Alonso to Stamford Bridge, possibly in January.
Alonso's contract is up next year, so Jose Mourinho could make a move for his former charge in the transfer window.
However, Juventus are apparently keen, with Andrea Pirlo potentially on the way out of Turin.
DERBY WANT £12m FOR HUGHES
Will Hughes is a wanted man, but according to The Daily Telegraph, Derby aren't keen to let him go cheap.
The paper reports that the Rams want 'a minimum' £12million for their midfielder, and want to keep him for the rest of this season.
Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal have all looked at Hughes, with Brendan Rodgers the most keen, it says here. However, the paper claims Hughes is not a 'priority target' for Liverpool, but they will 'make a move if rival clubs table a serious offer.'
LIVERPOOL IN FOR AMARTEY
Speaking of Liverpool, The Daily Mail reports they are 'monitoring 18-year-old Ghanaian Daniel Amartey'.
The midfielder/defender plays for Djurgardens in Sweden, and is also being scouted by Schalke and Kaiserslautern.
"I am happy to be on the radar at Liverpool," Amartey apparently said.
Meanwhile, The Sun reports that Liverpool have been linked with Steaua Bucharest defender Iasmin Latovlevici.

With Nani, whilst he's a talented lad, all you need do is ask yourself one question; can we trust him to play well, or work hard when he's not playing well? The answer, of course, is no. We cannot be sure he will play well, and he sure as sh*t aint gonna work hard so he has to go. If he cannot be trusted, then he cannot continue to contribute towards our current downturn in form.- HarryBoulton
