CITY TARGET FORSTER
Manchester City are plotting a bid for Celtic keeper Fraser Forster as fears over Joe Hart's errors continue to grow.
According to the Metro: 'Manuel Pellegrini was already toying with the idea of buying another shot-stopper in the new year, but that has been boosted with Hart's recent run of costly errors.
'And top of the wish list is Celtic ace Forster - who will be tracked by City scouts in the coming weeks as the club line up an offer for the 25-year-old.'
Forster, who could replace Hart between the sticks for England's friendly against Chile in two weeks, has also been linked with Barcelona and Manchester United and would command a fee of around £10million.
CARDIFF CHASE ZAHA
Cardiff have entered the race to sign Wilfried Zaha on loan in January after David Moyes admitted he may send the youngster out to gain experience.
"We have to try to make sure he gets some playing time," said Moyes. "Unfortunately, we haven't done that with Wilf and, if it's still the case in January, we would look at it."
The Daily Mail report that Malky Mackay has already instructed his Cardiff bosses to make an official approach for the 20-year-old, who is yet to make an appearance for United in the Premier League.
However, Cardiff could face competition to sign Zaha from local rivals Swansea, while Newcastle, West Brom and Stoke are also thought to hold an interest.
ASPAS LOOKS FOR LOAN
Iago Aspas is hoping to leave Liverpool only three months after joining the club for £7million from Celta Vigo.
'The Spanish striker is yet to score for the Reds since making his £7m move and has been hampered by a torn thigh muscle that he suffered in training earlier this month,' report the Daily Star.
'Despite making a good impression in his six games for Brendan Rodgers' side, according to reports in Spain Aspas is currently evaluating his options and is weighing up leaving on a temporary basis to secure first-team football.'
Aspas, who scored 12 goals in 33 matches for Celta last season, is reportedly a target for struggling Valencia.,
CHELSEA WANT TO KEEP MATA
Despite Jose Mourinho using Juan Mata rather sparingly so far this season, Chelsea will reportedly set to rebuff an approach from PSG for the playmaker.
'PSG made a late bid before the summer transfer deadline to land Mata in a £30 million deal and sources close to the mega-wealthy French club have revealed that they are set on trying again in January,' claim the Express.
'But Chelsea will resist any offer, and are not willing to let Mata go.
'A source told the Daily Express: "At the moment, Chelsea do not want to sell Mata, even if the offer is right."'
Apparently Spurs are also interested in Mata, but Chelsea won't entertain the idea of selling to a rival, while Mourinho is keen on Xabi Alonso and Blaise Matuidi as he looks to strengthen his midfield.
