Real 'convinced' they'll get Suarez, Gundogan available for £25million, Herrara staying put and so is Morata...
UNITED END LEWANDOWSKI INTEREST
Manchester United are no longer interested in signing Robert Lewandowski, according to the Daily Star.
The Borussia Dortmund striker has been linked with a move to the champions for the last 18 months, but it seems he is now certain to sign for Bayern Munich after United pulled out of the race for his signature.
'United have been tracking him for 18 months and had an £18m bid rejected when Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge,' report the Star.
'But new boss David Moyes has now decided to turn his back on the Borussia Dortmund star.
'A club source said: "Lewandowski has been a target but the new manager can't see where he would fit into the team. Other areas of the squad need strengthening and so the manager has turned his back on Lewandowski once and for all."'
Meanwhile, United could try to use Anderson as a hefty makeweight in a bid to sign Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala.
LIVERPOOL EYE ITURBE
According to the Daily Express, Liverpool are considering a move for Porto playmaker Juan Iturbe.
The Argentinian wonderkid has seen his career stall since joining the Portuguese champions in 2011 and is currently on loan at Hellas Verona in Serie A, where he has scored twice in five matches.
However, 'the Anfield side are keen on signing the highly-rated attacking midfielder after his season-long loan in Serie A finishes in the summer, reports in Italy suggest.
'But Liverpool will have to fend off interest from Fiorentina, Napoli, and Juventus for the hot prospect, after impressing so far for high-flying Verona.'
VALENCIA CHASE BA
Quick line from the Metro now, who claim that Valencia are plotting a £7million January move for Demba Ba.
Los Che are struggling in La Liga this season and are desperate for more firepower after losing Roberto Soldado to Spurs in the summer.
That could see them turn to Ba, who has been a bit-part player under Jose Mourinho since the manager returned to Stamford Bridge.
According to the Metro, Arsenal are also interested in Ba, but Chelsea would prefer to sell him to a foreign club.
AND THE REST
Wojciech Szczesny has signed a new four-year contract at Arsenal worth an astonishing £20.8million...Roy Keane is poised for a sensational return to football as Martin O'Neill's Republic of Ireland number two...Roberto Martinez is confident Everton will not be forced to cash in on Leighton Baines in January...Jake Livermore is ready to turn his loan move to Hull into a £3million permanent switch...Brighton boss Oscar Garcia is considering a January swoop for Dundee United forward Nadir Ciftci...Man City will have to pay £25m if they want to sign keeper Fernando Muslera from Galatasaray.
There's nothing particularly astonishing about a professional footballer earning £20.8 million over four years, or to put it another way, £100'000 a week. Like most regular first-team players at top clubs. I would file this firmly under non-story.- harry hotspur
