Danny Welbeck interesting Spurs, whilst Chris Smalling might join him in North London. Plus Muniain to Manchester...

We really, really like Mousa Dembele and actually thought Manchester United should have bought him in 2012 when he went to Tottenham instead. So it seems bizarre that he is now being linked with Newcastle, Aston Villa, Southampton, Cardiff and Swansea in the Daily Express after admitting that he's not too chuffed with starting only one of Spurs' last four Premier League games. That start came against Newcastle last weekend and he was hauled off at half-time for Sandro.

"I cannot be satisfied with it, of course, I just want to play as many games," said Dembele. "The coach explained that he makes a tactical choice, he wants more defensive players in midfield."

We can't help but think Dembele could do a little better than all those clubs mentioned. Perfect for Liverpool, we say.

Newcastle are close to agreeing a January loan deal for Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha, with manager Alan Pardew hoping to release a number of his fringe players on temporary deals in the next fortnight,' says the Northern Echo. Zaha, of course, has failed to make a single Premier League appearance this season since completing his £10m move from Crystal Palace.

There are said to be a whole raft of Premier League sides interested in signing Zaha on loan but the Echo seems to think that Newcastle lead the pack. They will make room in the squad by sending Gael Bigirimana, Sammy Ameobi and Haris Vuckic out on loan to Championship clubs in the coming weeks.

There's a new midfielder at Liverpool, says The Sun. They claim that Liverpool have beat Manchester United and Arsenal to the signing of £12m blonde bombshell Will Hughes. He will apparently join Liverpool in January, with some suggestion that he will spend the rest of the season back on loan at Derby. We remember how well that worked out for Zaha last year...

Quick line from Spanish newspaper Sport now, and they claim to have quotes from Sergio Aguero saying he wants to join Lionel Messi at Barcelona. Well he would, wouldn't he? This is what he reportedly said: "I want him to take me, but it's a matter of waiting for what the leaders decide."

It's fair to say that the 'Moyes Out' brigade is understandably out in force, whilst there are also staunch defences of Mourinho and Arteta. Plus, Liverpool fans can almost taste it.
