LIVERPOOL SCOUT GREEK STAR
With three goals in Greece's World Cup play-off victory over Romania, it was likely that rumours would begin to surface over Olympiakos striker Kostas Mitroglou, and the Daily Mirror are the first to play their hand.
Their claim is that Liverpool head of recruitment Dave Fallows and chief scout Barry Hunter were in Romania for the second leg to run their eye over the forward.
The paper actually go further still, reporting that Liverpool have actually been present at Mitroglou's last six matches, and will launch a £7million bid in January.
NANI BACK ON JUVE RADAR
With just 11 Premier League starts since the beginning of last season, it would be no surprise if Nani was allowed to leave Old Trafford, but is he really good enough to fit into the first-team set-up at Juventus?
That's the opinion of SHOUTsport (in a story they have taken from Tuttomercatoweb), who claim that Antonio Conte is looking to bolster his attacking options in order to operate with a 4-2-4 formation.
Given his form over the last two years, Nani should consider himself to be very fortunate indeed.
DRAXLER STAYING PUT. BUT ARSENAL FANS SHOULD GET GIDDY
Julian Draxler is a) German, b) young and c) a bloody gorgeous player, so it's little wonder that he has been linked to both Arsenal and Manchester United.
However, our friends at Sky Sports have quotes from Schalke's 20-year-old midfielder indicating that he will not be leaving Germany in January, although a summer departure is duly flirted with.
"For my club, I have the chance to play nearly every game, it is important for me to improve myself.
"I have said every summer I have to look what is the best for me and I will do in the summer again and we will see what happens.
"But no way. I won't switch then [in January]."
Arsenal fans, now is the time to sit down and prick up those ears, because Draxler is about to arouse you with words.
"I have always said English teams are very big clubs and Arsenal is of course one of them.
"Of course, I sometimes speak to Mesut or Per about the team, about the club, and they always have good words and they tell me nice things.
"You never know what happens in the summer, but Arsenal is a very, very nice team.
"They always have very young players, they play attractive football and that is what I like.
