ARSENAL AND UNITED CHASE MANDZUKIC
The big gossip on Monday is that Arsenal and Manchester United are both tracking Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic.

It's thought the Croatian could be allowed to leave Bayern in the summer after the club confirmed a pre-contract agreement to sign Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund.

'Mandzukic has scored 12 goals in 21 games for Bayern this season, but has seen his long-term future in Munich under threat from Lewandowski,' report the Daily Express.

'And Mandzukic's situation is being monitored by David Moyes and Arsene Wenger, although any move will have to wait until the summer.

'The 27-year-old has also been linked with Juventus, but Moyes' previous interest in the striker while manager at Everton could be revived.'

PREM CLUBS CHASE KALOU
The transfer window is open so we all know what that means - Salomon Kalou is available!

It seems the striker is being hawked around the Premier League again, with the Daily Mirror linking the 28-year-old with a £2.5million move to Liverpool, Arsenal or Spurs.

Kalou has scored six times in 19 Ligue Un matches for third-placed Lille this season, but it's believed he will be allowed to leave in January if anyone meets his asking price.

NEWCASTLE TO REVIVE DE JONG INTEREST
Newcastle's search for a new striker has taken them back to an old target as The Sun link the Magpies with a move for Luuk De Jong.

The 23-year-old was the subject of interest from Newcastle two years ago, but it was reported that Toon failed with a £10million bid to prise the Dutchman from Twente.

De Jong has since joined Borussia Moenchengladbach, but that move hasn't gone at all well so far.

After failing to score in 13 Bundesliga matches this season, De Jong will reportedly be allowed to leave on loan, with Newcastle plotting a short-term deal with a view to a permanent transfer.
