ARSENAL PLOT BALOTELLI BID
This is exciting. According to the Daily Express, Arsenal are plotting a summer move for Mario Balotelli, who has apparently already grown frustrated with life at AC Milan.

'The 23-year-old reportedly told agent Mino Raiola that he wanted to leave in January but preliminary talks with Chelsea - about a reunion with Jose Mourinho - failed to amount to anything,' report the Express.

'As recently as last summer such a move seemed completely out of reach for Arsenal, with Milan said to value Balotelli at "twice the cost of Gareth Bale" - approximately £150m.

'But a combination of factors have now made the transfer a distinct possibility.'

There are reports that Puma - who recently announced a £150m kit deal with the Gunners - are willing to chip in around £15m to make the move happen, with AC Milan reportedly seeking around £40m to let Balotelli leave.

MANGALA CHASE CONTINUES
Manchester United and Chelsea have joined the race for Eliaquim Mangala after Manchester City failed to seal a deal for the Porto defender on deadline day.

According to the Daily Star, United scouts watched the centre-back for a third time on Sunday when he played in Porto's 2-1 win at Gil Vicente.

David Moyes is now considering a summer move for the 23-year-old, but will need to cough up £35m to meet Mangala's relese clause.

The Star also add that Nemanja Vidic has agreed a two-year contract with Internazionale, who are also weighing up a move for Thomas Vermaelen.

BIG CLUBS TRACK SWANSEA'S DAVIES
Despite only signing a new four-year contract before Christmas, Swansea's Ben Davies could soon be on his way out of the Liberty Stadium, with several of Europe's biggest clubs keeping tabs on the left-back.

'The 20-year-old Wales international has been monitored by Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and, surprisingly, Atletico Madrid in recent months,' report the Daily Mail.

'All the clubs are in the market for a left-back and while Davies may not be the No 1 choice for all he is figuring prominently on their list of potential buys.'

It's thought that Swansea are reluctant to sell Davies, who has made over 60 appearances since making his debut at the start of last season.
