Joe Allen to United (the silliest one we've seen), Arsenal to pay £50m for Cavani, Milan want Torres & Van Ginkel...
UNITED IN FOR SHAW, GRIEZMANN, EVERYONE
Wahey! Let's play another round of guess the Manchester United 2014/15 team!
The Daily Star reports this morning that United are prepared to 'break the bank' for Luke Shaw, and that they are in 'pole position' to sign the 18-year-old, despite his Chelsea fandom.
The paper claims: 'David Moyes is prepared to pay the 18-year-old a staggering £75,000-a-week to join United in the summer.
'That would top the £60,000-a-week deals United's Adnan Januzaj and Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have signed as teens and see Shaw almost quadruple his current Southampton wages.
'Saints are also set to open talks with their in-demand left-back, who made his England debut on Wednesday.'
Meanwhile, The Daily Mirror claims United are watching Antoine Griezmann, with David Moyes taking a look at the Real Sociedad winger and United scout David Friio - yes, the David Friio - a fan.
"Griezmann would bring something," Friio said.
"His versatility and technique, in a tournament where space is limited, are real assets. You can't score 15 goals in a great league without having real qualities."
BARCA TO SELL ALVES & SONG?
Interesting line in The Daily Express, who report that Barcelona are looking to offload both Dani Alves and Alex Song, and might have some takers in the Premier League.
Apparently Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all 'on alert' after the pair were made available.
The paper says: 'Arsenal have been linked with a move for Alves in the past and could well be in the market for a new right-back if Bacary Sagna leaves on a free transfer at the end of the season.
'Chelsea and Manchester City are also clubs that have expressed an interest in Alves in the past and are unlikely to be deterred by the player's financial demands.
'Song, meanwhile, is thought to be a target for David Moyes at Manchester United, although a return to Arsenal also cannot be ruled out.'
POLDI'S AGENT SAYS THINGS
Lukas Podolski has been the latest English-based player linked with a move to Inter, and here's his agent, shall we say, not exactly playing down such speculation.
"At the moment we do not know what will happen in the future," Nassim Touihri is quoted as saying.
"Inter an interesting club that wants to invest as it has recently also signed Vidic."
"Cologne is his heart and his passion,' added Touihri. 'But at the moment it is too early to say where Podolski end of play."
ARSENAL AND LIVERPOOL DUKE IT OUT
Quick story from The Daily Mail, who report that Liverpool and Arsenal are duking it out for a French youngster by the name of Maxime Lopez.
The 16-year-old Marseille playmaker is described by the Mail as 'rated the brightest prospect in the French club's youth system and that has prompted scouts from Europe's elite clubs to visit the south of France to take a closer look.'
Meanwhile, the paper reports Brendan Rodgers is also looking at Ben Davies, Michel Vorm, Yevhen Konoplyanka and Valencia's 24-year-old midfielder Dani Parejo.
