United (and others) to miss out on Mehdi Benatia, Chelsea want £30m for Lukaku, Vlaar to hold Villa talks...
REAL MADRID EYE HART
After talk earlier in the season that Manchester City want Iker Casillas to replace Joe Hart, there are now rumours that the La Liga side are eyeing the England number one.
Madrid have divided goalkeeping responsibilities between La Liga pick Diego Lopez and cup-duty Casillas this season, but it seems Carlo Ancelotti wants a new shot-stopper he can rely on every week.
With Casillas unsettled by his lack of action and Lopez a target for AC Milan, the Daily Star claim Real are ready to bid for Hart, who it's thought would cost around £25m.
And, interestingly, they add: 'Hart shares the same representatives as Gareth Bale, who joined Real for a world record £85m last summer.'
Apparently Manuel Pellegrini would be reluctant to lose Hart, but a potential move could depend on whether Victor Valdes agrees to join City when his Barcelona contract expires in the summer.
CITY TARGET SAGNA
Bacary Sagna's new contract has become something of a saga at Arsenal, at it now looks like the defender could leave the Emirates for a new challenge at the end of the season.
According to the Daily Star, the France international has turned down a £90,000-a-week deal with Internazionale as he would prefer to stay in the Premier League.
That has reportedly put Man City in pole position for the 31-year-old, who would join former teammates Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy were he to move to the Etihad.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Monaco, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are also credited with expressing an interest.
ARSENAL PLAN FOR WENGER EXIT
According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal are already planning for Arsene Wenger's departure after talks over a new deal near completion.
The Gunners boss was supposedly offered a three-year deal earlier in the campaign, but that has apparently been cut to just two years 'as Wenger knows the pressure is mounting on him from fans to win silverware'.
The Mirror report: 'Wenger has agreed the deal in principle and is preparing for next season by discussing transfer targets, improvements at the training ground and player contracts.
'Those two years would also give Arsenal time to line up potential replacements with Borussia Dortmund's Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola of Bayern Munich, Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers, Everton boss Roberto Martinez and Wenger's current No2 Steve Bould likely to be on their list.'
Well, we know which of those candidates we probably wouldn't appoint.
M'VILA BACK ON PREM RADAR
Remember this chap? He was linked with Arsenal and Liverpool back in 2011/12, then QPR after a drop in form, and eventually ended up at Rubin Kazan.
Anyway, Yann M'Vila is back in the rumour mill on Tuesday, as the Daily Express report that Everton, Arsenal and Tottenham are all eyeing summer moves for the France international.
Apparently M'Vila has lost his place under new boss Rinat Bilyaletdinov and is desperate to move to England as soon as the transfer window opens.
