ANCELOTTI IN FOR MOYES?
Discussion about who could replace David Moyes if/when Manchester United decide to abandon this 'appoint a manager with no experience of managing a big club and no track record of winning silverware' experiment will become commonplace in the coming months and the Daily Star kick off proceedings with an exclusive claim that Carlo Ancelotti is one name in the frame.

They claim that Ancelotti 'is deemed a far safer appointment than Jurgen Klopp', who has in turn been linked with replacing the former Chelsea boss at Real Madrid. They also throw the name of Diego Simeone into the mix. Inevitably.

LENNON FOR UNITED?
Don't panic, Manchester United fans, we don't mean Neil Lennon. No, we're talking about Aaron Lennon, who the Daily Express website are linking with a move to Old Trafford in the summer. Because what United desperately need is another winger with no end product.

And in a clear case of 2+2 transfer maths, the Express go on to claim that 'the perennial bench warmer Javier Hernandez is the player United will offer in an exchange deal to land Lennon'. Quite who's paying who in this highly unlikely deal remains unclear.

LOVREN FOR LIVERPOOL?
This is from the Daily Mirror website, who claim that 'Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is lining up a summer swoop for Southampton defensive rock Dejan Lovren' after missing out on signing the Croat from Lyon last summer.

Lovren cost Southampton £8.5m and has enjoyed an impressive first season in the Premier League so we suspect that he will cost around £12m if Liverpool pursue their interest.
