Oh dear, can't really see Spurs fans liking this one too much. With Jan Vertonghen already dropping plenty of hints about leaving White Hart Lane this summer, we suppose that Tottenham would be wanting to hold on to their other defenders, but Younes Kaboul is out of contract this summer and hankering after a move.

Whilst Kaboul leaving may not be seen as a disaster, particularly not if he repeats his form from Sunday at Anfield, the defender's ideal destination may ruffle more than a few feathers, with the Daily Star reporting as an 'Exclusive' that he wishes to join best friend Abou Diaby at Arsenal.

Leaving on a free to move from Tottenham to Arsenal, you say. That's some brass balls from Kaboul given that Spurs stuck by him during an injury which allowed the Frenchman to start just one Premier League match between May 2012 and November 2013.

However, there seems to be conflicting information about whether Kaboul's contract actually ends this summer or in 2015, which would rather undermine the Exclusive.

Chelsea have enjoyed a successful relationship with Dutch club Vitesse Arhem of late, a symbiotic partnership which sees young Chelsea players join the Eredivisie side on loan.

The list of players that have moved on a temporary basis from Stamford Bridge includes (*takes deep breath*): Cristian Cuevas, Lucas Piazon, Christian Atsu, Bertrand Traore, Gael Kakuta, Sam Hutchinson, Tomas Kalas, Ulises Davila, Patrick van Aanholt, Nemanja Matic, Matej Delac and Slobodan Rajkovic. That's all since 2010.

However, as reported by the Guardian, amongst others, the former major shareholder of Vitesse Merab Jordania has claimed that Vitesse were ordered to lose matches by "London", insinuating Chelsea.

"I wanted to reach for the title, but 'London' didn't want that in the end. Ambition is fine, but Vitesse is not allowed to reach the Champions League ... I will tell you now why [the manager] Fred Rutten left [last June]. He knew that he wasn't allowed to win the title with Vitesse."

Jordania left the club when Alexander Chigirinsky, a good personal friend of Roman Abramovich, took over last year. The Dutch Football Federation has launched an investigation.

Hugo Lloris might well be getting sick of life at White Hart Lane. Playing behind Michael Dawson week in week out seems to be keeping him rather busier than he would like, and the majority thought is that the Frenchman will be off this summer.

There will be no shortage of takers, if the Daily Mirror is to be believed at least. The paper report that three of the Champions League quarter-finalists (Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Paris St Germain) are interested in Lloris.

PSG would surely be the favourites, given that Salvatore Sirigu is not seen as of sufficient enough quality for club aiming to win the Champions League, but with Victor Valdes off in the summer Barcelona are now also sniffing about. Atletico's interest depends largely on their ability to extend the loan of Thibault Courtois for yet another year.
