LOVREN JOINS LALLANA ON LIVERPOOL SHORTLIST
There have been plenty of reports linking Adam Lallana with a £25m move to Liverpool over the past week, and they have now been joined by rumours that the Reds also want one of his teammates.

According to the Daily Mirror, Brendan Rodgers is plotting a £40m double swoop for Lallana and Dejan Lovren, as he bids to fix his leaky defence as well as strengthening Liverpool's attack.

Report the Mirror: 'The Anfield giants' manager Brendan Rodgers wants to make the Saints an offer they can't refuse for the duo... and a massive statement of intent for next season, when the five-times winners return to the Champions League/European Cup.

'Midfielder Lallana already looks Kop-bound, after indicating the Reds are the only club he's interested in joining despite offers from Manchester United and Tottenham.'

Xherdan Shaqiri is also on Rodgers' wishlist as the winger prepares to leave Bayern Munich this summer.

LUKAKU TO SWITCH PLACES WITH COSTA
Another quick line from the Mirror now, who report that Atletico Madrid want Romelu Lukaku on loan as part of Chelsea's deal to take Diego Costa to Stamford Bridge.

The young Belgian scored 15 goals on loan to Everton this season and is now assessing his options as he prepares to return to Chelsea after the World Cup.

The Toffees are keen on a permanent deal for Lukaku, along with Newcastle and Spurs, but it now seems he could end up at Atletico for a season.

REDS EYE YOUNGER HAZARD
Liverpool are plotting a loan move for Chelsea youngster Thorgan Hazard, according to the Daily Mail.

The 21-year-old brother of Eden narrowly missed out on a place in Belgium's World Cup squad after winning the Belgium Player of the Year award following his performances for Zulte Waregem.

'(Liverpool) scouts watched as the 21-year-old scored for Zulte Waregem, where he is on loan, against Lokeren last weekend,' report the Mail.

'Jose Mourinho is reluctant to put him into his first-team squad next season.'

Apparently Schalke and Everton are also interested.
