DE GUZMAN FOR UNITED
It was only a matter of time - if you're Dutch and in Louis van Gaal's side, you are ging to be linked with Manchester United this summer. The latest name - thanks to Spanish newspaper AS - is Jonathan De Guzman, who has been on loan at Swansea City since the dawn of time.

By our reckoning, that leaves only Jasper Cillessen, Stefan de Vrij and Nigel de Jong as regular Dutch starters who have NOT been linked with United this summer. Who do we think is actually going to join? Daley Blind if he's really available for about quarter of the price of a Luke Shaw, perhaps.

CHELSEA MAKE KROOS OFFER
You may have spotted that there's sod all in the English newspapers this morning (it's almost like there's a major tournament going on) so we're having to turn to Spain. This time it's El Confidencial and their claim that Chelsea have made a £130,000-a-week offer to Toni Kroos, which will blow Real Madrid's interest out of the water. Shall we just give them the title now?

ARSENAL MOVE FOR ZALDUA
'Arsene Wenger is interested in taking Real Sociedad's emerging right back Joseba Zaldua as part of the Carlos Vela deal,' say the Daily Mirror, who claim that the 21-year-old could be a long-term replacement for Bacary Sagna.

Elsewhere, Arsenal could miss out on striker target Alvaro Morata because Wolfsburg have made a £15.9m offer for the Spaniard. Spanish newspaper AS says that Wolfsburg director Klaus Allofs will travel to Madrid next week in an attempt to persuade Morata to take a chance on the new big spenders of European football.

AND THE REST
Ronald Koeman is lining up Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk for his first signing as Southampton manager...Manchester City are ready to make a surprise move for free-agent keeper Keiren Westwood as Joe Hart's new No.2...Ex-Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott is a target for eight clubs at home and abroad...Relegated Fulham will let Holland goalkeeper Maarten Stekenlenburg leave if they can recoup the £4million they paid Roma last summer...Crystal Palace, Sunderland and Aston Villa are showing interest in Marseille midfielder Morgan Amalfitano...Athletic Bilbao are weighing up a move for the Gunners' Spanish defender Nacho Monreal...City's goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon, 27, is close to signing for Sunderland.

Indeed, nowhere near enough laughing at united today. vermalen!!! thought they could buy kroos! quality!
