Van Gaal drops another Ronaldo hint, Strootman still a target, Arsenal chasing Swiss defender Schar and more...
Liverpool and Barcelona are said to be negotiating a deal with Barcelona which involves swapping Luis Suarez and Alexis Sanchez.
Brendan Rodgers is a known admirer of the Chilean, while Barcelona's board are now understood to be keen on bringing Suarez to the Nou Camp this summer.
Mundo Deportivo claim Barca will sweeten the chucking in around £30million with Sanchez. Tempted?
BACK FOR BERTRAND
Liverpool perma-target Ryan Bertrand is once more being linked with Reds, who appear to have cooled their interest in Alberto Moreno.
A bid of £16million was submitted to Sevilla last month, but the Spaniards are looking for closer to £20million. As a consequence, Brendan Rodgers is looking again at Bertrand, who spent last season on loan at Aston Villa.
The Chelsea full-back would likely be available for a fraction of what Moreno would cost. Marcos Rojo of Sporting Lisbon is also understood to be an option for Rodgers.
Ramires is the man Carlo Ancelotti wants to bolster Real Madrid's midfield.
The Chelsea star had a mixed season under Jose Mourinho, but the boss has insisted the Brazilian is not for sale. According to Marca, this has not deterred Ancelotti, though, who has asked his club's board to test the Blues' resolve.
PSG's Marco Verratti is also under consideration by Real, but Ancelotti prefers Ramires over the Italian who he worked with in the French capital before moving to Madrid last summer.
