C U L8R, LUV XAVI XXX
Xavi is reported to have begun saying goodbye to Barcelona following Spain's World Cup exit.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning after the defeat to Chile, Marca claims he sent several text messages explaining that his decision to leave the Nou Camp had already been "well studied".
Let's be fair: who hasn't sent texts in the wee small hours that perhaps we might have regretted the following morning? But Xavi is seemingly on his way. A move to MLS understood to be an option, but the 34-year-old's most likely destination appears to be Al Arabi in Qatar.
There are varying reports in this morning's papers over the future of England nemesis Luis Suarez.
The Mirror say Barcelona believe an offer of £70million will be enough to tempt Liverpool into selling the hit-man, who is already a target for Real Madrid.
The Daily Star, though, claim that neither of the La Liga giants will make a move unless Suarez's agent indicates he wants to leave Merseyside. This one has the makings of another saga...
REAL TO WAIT FOR KROOS
Toni Kroos wants to join Real Madrid once his contract expires in 2015.
The Bayern Munich midfielder is entering the final year of his contract, and though Manchester United and Chelsea have both been credited with more than a passing interest, it appears to be the Germany international's desire to go to the Bernabeu.
Despite a queue of clubs willing to pay a hefty fee to take Kroos now, Bayern are happy to keep the 24-year-old for another season and then watch him walk away for nothing next summer.
Kroos would prefer an immediate exit, but the prospect of a fatter signing-on fee and a heftier salary as a free agent is said to be incentive enough for him to stick around in Bavaria for another year.

Suarez will want to go if Barcelona or Real Madrid come in for him. Fair play to him if he does, no one should stand in his way. The Sanchez offer is a bit low, but he is a great player too. 40 million on top wouldn't be such a bad offer. Why Athletico think they could get Lukaku on loan and why he would want to go there, I don't know. Xavi has come to the end of his time as a main player for a top european team, he is entitled to go and and get a good pay day at a lower level and any of those leagues he went to would benefit from having him there. It's a good move for all parties, good luck to him, a class act.- Gab1965
