Real Madrid line up Marco Reus as Gareth Bale's replacement, Arsenal and Liverpool scrap for Milner, and lots more...
MORATA TO JOIN JUVENTUS
With Arsenal close to sealing a deal for Alexis Sanchez, Juventus have turned their attention to signing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.
The 21-year-old has been linked to a number of Premier League clubs over the past 12 months, including the Gunners, but talkSPORT claim he's now on his way to Turin.
They report: 'The Serie A champions will pay a fee of £17.5m and hand the 21-year-old a four-year contract, although Real Madrid will include a buyback clause in the deal.'
At that price, it's no wonder Arsene Wenger preferred to look elsewhere...
ARSENAL STRIKER HUNT HEATS UP
Arsenal fans won't be entirely convinced by the manager's striking plans, however, if the names listed in the Daily Star turn out to be genuine targets.
According to the Star, Wenger is plotting bids for Salomon Kalou (yes, him again) and Miroslav Klose as he seeks competition for Olivier Giroud.
But apparently Lille have doubled their asking price for Kalou to £5m, while Lazio aren't keen to shift Klose following his World Cup heroics. 'Phew' might be the word Gooners are looking for.
VAN GAAL PLANS OVERHAUL
The Star also run the story that Louis van Gaal is still preparing a £75m overhaul of the Manchester United squad, despite the club already splashing out on Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera.
Apparently Van Gaal is willing to sell Marouane Fellaini, Nani, Ashley Young and Shinji Kagawa to fund his spending ambition, with the Belgian available for a knockdown fee of just £15m.
Mats Hummels and Angel Di Maria top the manager's shortlist, and the Argentine could be allowed to leave Real Madrid if the Champions League winners secure a £45m deal for James Rodriguez.
