Karim Benzema to Liverpool for £50m (of course), with Virgil van Dijk and Fabian Delph also on the wanted list.

MAN CITY CLOSE ON MANGALA
According to various reports, Manchester City are finally close to sealing a £32m move for Eliaquim Mangala.

The champions moved for the defender back in January, but Porto were reluctant to sell half-way through the campaign.

However, after already capturing Mangala's teammate Fernando, it looks like City are now set to complete a deal for the France international.

LIVERPOOL TARGET BENZEMA
Now this is news to excite Liverpool fans following the loss of Luis Suarez.

According to The Mirror, the Reds have added Karim Benzema to their shortlist as Brendan Rodgers scours Europe for a new striker to replace the Barcelona-bound hitman.

Benzema played a pivotal role in Real Madrid's success last season, scoring 26 goals in 51 appearances, but rumours that he could be sold to finance a bid for James Rodriguez have refused to disappear.

It would certainly be a message of intent from Liverpool, but whether they can afford the striker's wages is another matter.

Meanwhile, The Sun claim Rodgers is preparing to make six more signings in a £135m spending spree. Dejan Lovren, Lazar Markovic and Divock Origi are all at the top of the manager's wish list.

JUVENTUS CHASE PAULINHO
Juventus are reportedly chasing Tottenham midfielder Paulinho, which could hand Manchester United a boost in their bid for Arturo Vidal.

The Sunday Telegraph report that Juve are prepared to pay £20m for Paulinho, although Daniel Levy is apparently holding out for at least £25m.

'The move is expected to pave the way for Arturo Vidal to leave the Italian champions although Manchester United, who have strongly been linked with the 27-year-old, deny they are close to agreeing a deal for the Chilean international,' writes Jason Burt.

'According to sources in Italy, however, Paulinho is already being lined up as Vidal's replacement with Juventus confident that an offer for the Brazilian international will be accepted by Spurs.'
