Vertonghen to Man United (which makes a lot of sense), Strootman has 'shaken hands' on a move, and more...
SPURS LOOKING TO SHIFT SOLDADO
It looks like Tottenham are prepared to take a big hit on Roberto Soldado if the Daily Express are to be believed.
The striker endured a difficult first season at White Hart Lane, and was linked with a return to La Liga with Atletico Madrid before they signed Mario Mandzukic.
It appears that Inter are now leading the chase for Soldado, and according to the Express they could get their man for as little as £15m.
If we were Spurs, we'd sell and move on.
STROOTMAN TO UNITED?
Well, well, well, this is intriguing. The Daily Express may have put their finger on Manchester United's apparent U-turn on Arturo Vidal as they report that Louis van Gaal still wants Kevin Strootman.
According to the Express: 'Despite the 24-year-old's cruciate ligament damage, Van Gaal doesn't seem seem fazed by his lengthy spell on the sidelines.'
Meanwhile Roma have given an update on Strootman's injury in a club statement: "The tests confirmed that the midfielder is making good progress with his recovery program."
It's though the Dutch international would cost around £25m.
BALOTELLI CAN LEAVE FOR £14m
That's according to Tuttosport, via The Metro, who claim AC Milan have slashed their asking price for the striker.
'Balotelli is rumoured to be among Liverpool's top transfer targets this summer with Brendan Rodgers looking for a replacement for Luis Suarez,' report The Metro.
'And while the Italian's £30million price tag might have put off any potential bidders, Italian newspaper Tuttosport says Milan have slashed that down to just £14million.'
Milan are apparently hoping to sign Jackson Martinez or Radamel Falcao as Balotelli's replacement.
