Chris Iwelumo: County loan move

The 34-year-old former Scotland international brings a wealth of experience to Meadow Lane ahead of a busy festive fixture schedule.

Iwelumo, who enjoyed top-flight football with Wolves, has gained three promotions in a successful career with Brighton, Colchester and during his time at Molineux.

He goes straight into Saturday's squad to face Swindon and provides Magpies boss Curle with a fresh attacking option.
