Matej Vydra: Already scored ten goals in 19 games at Watford

The Czech International has bagged an impressive 10 goals in 19 games for the Hornets since his move from Serie A.

And now the 20-year-old striker - who went through a turbulent 2011 with knee ligament damage - hopes to remain in England and add to his goal tally at Vicarage Road.

He told the website isport.blesk.cz: "After missing most of last year through injury I didn't expect to score so many goals.

"But now that I am, I am glad to be here and anything that I add from now on will be a real bonus.

"I want to play as much as possible and to have plenty of match practice and then we will see what happens next.

"I would like to stay here. You really can't compare it with anything else.

"Even though Watford it is just the second division, the attendance is 13,000 which you don't even have in the Czech league on all stadiums in one round. I can't complain.

"I have two years left on my Udinese contract, but if I could, I would like to stay in England. This style of football suits me. It is fast and full of challenges."
