Lewington is a free agent after seeing out his contract with the League Two club earlier this summer.

The 25-year-old is highly-regarded after impressing during his time at Victoria Road, making over 100 appearances for the Daggers.

A number of Championship and League One sides are thought to be keeping tabs on Lewington's situation, with the custodian an attractive option on a free transfer.

Watford are thought to be ready to invite Lewington to Vicarage Road for pre-season training as they look to cast an eye over the keeper before deciding whether to offer him a move to the club.

t's why Mourinho is so successful. He gives players a specific, limited set of functions to perform. They are but a cog in a machine. Do no more, do no less. I assume he learnt it from LvG :)

really hope that someone in the mainstream media spots that the Bayern manager played for and managed Barcelona quite well, and thinks to mention it in the build up. That would be really interesting.
