The likes of Graham Dorrans, Zoltan Gera, Markus Rosenberg, Goran Popov, Diego Lugano and Steven Reid were all omitted from the match-day squad for last weekend's draw at Stoke.

Despite a number of his senior players being left out, Clarke is not thinking of letting them leave and wants them to push for a return to the first-team fold.

"They are all Premier League players, who will want to play at this level," he said.

"They will want to play here for the Albion - they show me that every day and I don't expect anyone else to want to go out on loan."
