Nobody says 'profligacy' in real life. Stop saying it. Wasteful will do. Imagine saying 'oh Liverpools profligacy will cost them' in the pujb to your mates. You wouldn't say it, would you?

@sanity1892 - has Pep been round for tea and biscuits and told you he wants him at Bayern? Is Pep even in a position to buy players for Bayern at this stage? Christ on a bike, lad, even if the RUMOURS are true, are you trying to say that the possibility that Pep wants him at Bayern means he is as good as Ronaldo/Messi? This was my point - that he simply isn't at their level. Who knows, perhaps he will be one day, but (@surprisedicare, apologies for any offense, I take your point about coaching, but there is only so much a coach can do - I am sure you are aware of this) I would suggest that it will take more than an improvement in his shooting for him to reach their level. It shouldn't be hard to understand that this is not the same as saying 'I think he is rubbish'. I think ricky villa has it spot on - he seems to be rated a lot more highly by the Mickeys than he is by most impartial observers. And what is more, returning to my original point, the guy is a knob of the highest order. I am sure this clouds my opinion somewhat, but it is just very obvious indeed that he is considerably inferior to little and large.

i don't know what is teh hoopla about Liverpool not beating a team in the top half of the table. When Liverpool beat West Ham on the 9th of December, the hammers were 8th in the table. so this was not their first win over a top half team, in fact it was their second.

Drunkenmaster, are you on drugs? Seriously? Suarez has scored against all the top teams!! It isnt his fault the rest of the team dont stand up, really pathetic attempt to justify your disliking of Suarez. Second highest goalscorer only to RVP and was involved in 4 of the weekend goals. Poor post.
