Liverpool And Spurs Top The Winners List...

Astonishingly, there are people who care which team is at the top of this list so yay, it's Liverpool. Well done. Elsewhere, Arsenal and Man United are both losers...

Wow synergy, fair play. I would rather anyone win it than Chelsea or City because of the bankrolling. But would take City above Chelsea any day as always thought they were a decent club with a loyal fanbase (may have changed the last couple years). Chelsea are like new money they cant buy class.

@GVMUFC - never forget last time we won the fecking league called around to a mate (Forest fan) of mine for our own match & Liverpool had tied up #18 - said to him we'd just won the league, his response - "Ye win it every year" - bastard! @pof - fair points the most damning of all is your last one - standing like a lunatic on his todd!

@pof: But that wasn't the point being made originally. Regardless, the issue has been flogged to death now. I have accepted Matt Stanger's hand-written apology (which I believe is in the post) and have forgiven him until the next misdemeanor. So we move on.

Neither of them will win it, but really can't get myself to root for a sugardaddy's plaything. Both fans haven't won it in a while, so would be great if either of them managed it. Normally I'd be anti Pool, but it would be a shame to have Gerrard retire without a PL title." Fair comment. Respect.

@mr. factual: I mentioned it before. I think nobody can ignore Spurs form under Sherwood at the moment. I have not heard people saying he's been lucky lately. Some said he would get found out against the bigger teams, and some still do but he's been getting gradually more praise these last few weeks.

@GVMUFC - Surely the biggest difference between the Moyes and Gerrard celebrations was one was a winner in injury time, the other was a goal to go 1 up with over 10 minutes left. It was only embarrassing because after that celebration they still failed to win. The most telling point about the Moyes celebration was that he was completely on his own.

@howlong: trust me, I know how that feels watching you boys win loads in the 80s!

@ GVMUFC that's how it felt looking at you lot winning something like 400 league titles in the past 25 years - well it felt like 400 titles! And as much as I could never stand Chelsea or City (for obvious reasons) I wanted them to win over you lot.

I

may well get slated by other United fans for this, but out of the three contenders, I'd far prefer Liverpool to win the title. Yes some elements of their fanbase can be a bit OTT, yes they're our biggest rivals and yes it will make our poor season feel even more like the end of an era (Fergie's gone, Liverpool are back on top). However I just have to applaud Brendan Rodgers and the way he's turned Liverpool around in just a couple of seasons. It...

H

ooray! We are all excited now, we beat a very mediocre team! With all due respect to WHU supporters, not winning that game shouldn't even be a consideration. This is the problem, there is no winning mentality at the Emirates - we're all congratulating ourselves beating a team that we have a winning record against.

I

s this meant to be an aspiration for United supporters? Moyes mediocrity strikes again. I see the Bayern boys don't want to sign for him, and his reputation amongst the senior European coaches make other key signings unlikely.
