Danny Ings: Not leaving in January says Sean Dyche

The Clarets striker fired an unstoppable opener in the Lancashire club's 2-1 victory over Yeovil at Huish Park to take his tally this campaign to 21 goals.

Dyche said: "There has been speculation ever since I have been here over our players, whether it's Ings, Sam Vokes or Charlie Austin.

"There is naturally going to be interest when players are doing well. It's good that there are people interested but I don't envisage him leaving any time soon.

"Certainly not in January, but who knows what happens in the future - everybody has their price, even Cristiano Ronaldo.

"He is a Burnley player, he is playing well, enjoying his football and scoring goals."

Burnley took the lead 19 minutes into their first trip to the south Somerset club when the in-form former Bournemouth man found space 20 yards out and rifled past Marek Stech in the Yeovil goal, before Vokes tapped in a second on the hour mark.

Dyche added: "I thought we were good value for the three points today, some of the football that we were playing was excellent. Their keeper has made a few great saves, and we've hit the post."

Yeovil's reply arrived after 79 minutes when young forward Kieffer Moore surged down the left wing and curled a cross-cum-shot towards the far post which eluded flailing goalkeeper Tom Heaton.

However, Yeovil manager Gary Johnson was left ruing errors at the other end.

Johnson said: "The difference was we made two bad mistakes, the top teams don't make those mistakes so that gifts strikers the goals.

"We had to work very hard to create our own opportunities and we certainly did create enough opportunities to come away with something.

"We are getting in there, we're not a million miles away. But it's not about the strikers, it's about the whole team.

"It takes us to get a punch on the nose before we start fighting, but we need to hit the opposition on the nose before they hit us.

"I think it's the level we're at, we're not as experienced as other teams and the teams that are at the top are at the top for a reason.

"We stayed in it but you need to make sure your first pass is right, your first tackle is won, your first strike is on target and that's how you do it, but it would be nice to start a game like that."

All Platini is doing is making billionaries pay measly fines, so he and his cronies can get rich. If a fool can pay 50 mil for David Luiz, he will happily pay some fine to UEFA. FFP has failed as for it to succeed UEFA had to take it...
