Starting my sports journalism career with Sky Sports in 2007, I worked with TEAMtalk, Fox Sports and Sporting Life, before first joining the F365 desk in 2014. I also wrote for Planet Football when it was relaunched in 2019 and, during my time as a F365er, entirely coincidentally, the site has won two FSF Online Media of the Year awards.
I studied media at Leeds Trinity University as a mature student while employed as a football coach across Europe and the United States. As a goalkeeping specialist, having worked with a number Premier League and EFL clubs, I enjoy writing around goalkeeping topics, when editor Sarah Winterburn lets me.
After spells abroad, I am back in North Yorkshire where I was born, with my two football-playing sons and a daft pug.
