My career began back in 2009 after I graduated from the University of Lancashire with a degree in Sports Journalism. This immediately led to an exciting range of freelance opportunities, including sub-editing the Mail on Sunday's sports section and interviewing figures like double Olympic gold medallist Dame Kelly Holmes and, in football, the then St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes.
For the next decade across Agora Financial, Agora Lifestyles, and Market Breakers, my job was to help readers make sense of the crazy world of sports markets, with a particular focus on football and horse racing.
Working my way up from Junior Editor to Managing Director, I focused on alerting readers to value odds by giving stronger, more analytical football insights than they could get from the more mainstream, time-limited pundits.
