Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu are reportedly working on six deals ahead of the summer transfer window.
Although the Spanish boss has claimed that talks are underway over a potential new deal for the latter.
Fabrizio Romano claims that Arsenal will look to Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey to replace Hector Bellerin, who’s been linked with a move to PSG in recent weeks.
Lamptey is currently injured but enjoyed an impressive start to life on the south coast after his £3million move from Chelsea. It’s thought Arsenal would have to pay around £30million to lure him to the Emirates.
Arteta and Arsenal are also in the market for a new striker and have made a ‘solid enquiry’ for Celtic Odsonne Edouard according to the Transfer Window Podcast (via football.london).
Celtic reportedly want £22million for the 23-year-old.
The last name on Arteta’s wishlist is RB Leipzig centre-back Ibrahima Konate, valued at £35million, with Arsenal among a number of top European clubs targeting the 21-year-old this summer.
