Aberdeen defender Rory McArdle is out for the Dons and could miss the remainder of the season with a dislocated shoulder.
Manager Craig Brown will make late decisions on the fitness of Zander Diamond (stomach) – like McArdle, injured in the midweek loss at St Mirren – and David McNamee (hamstring).
Paul Hartley (knee) is still out alongside long-term injury victims Yoann Folly, Darren Mackie and Fraser Fyvie.
Hibernian boss Colin Calderwood has no major new injury concerns ahead of the game, although he is monitoring the fitness of some of the players who suffered knocks in the 3-1 loss at Celtic.
On-loan defender Richie Towell is available again after missing that defeat against his parent club.
Francis Dickoh could return, but Danny Galbraith (ankle), Steven Thicot (ankle), Kevin McCann (knee) and Graham Stack (shoulder) are out.
