AC Milan have made an approach for Leicester star Riyad Mahrez, according to reports.
Mahrez was a target for Arsenal in the summer after starring in Leicester’s title triumph last season.
After signing a new contract until 2020, he Algerian, like the rest of the Foxes, has yet to hit the heights of last term in the current campaign.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Milan sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli has scouted the 25-year-old on numerous occasions, with the Serie A side desperate to bolster their options out wide, and contact has been made with Leicester regarding a transfer.
However, the report does add that Leicester are not open to selling the player in January or next summer.
Having shown their resolve by rejecting Arsenal’s interest and tying down the player to a new contract, it appears the Foxes are not going to sell any time soon.
