Adam Lallana will undergo a medical today ahead of a free transfer to Premier League side Brighton, according to reports.
The England international’s contract at Liverpool has come to an end with the Premier League now finished until September after the last round of fixtures over the weekend.
The 32-year-old was signed by former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers in 2014 from Southampton and the attacking midfielder has gone on to make 178 appearances in all competitions for the Reds.
Lallana thanked Brendan Rodgers, Jurgen Klopp and Jordan Henderson in an emotional farewell message on Saturday as he looks set to complete a free transfer to Brighton.
Daily Telegraph reporter John Percy claims that Lallana ‘will have his medical at Brighton today’ after leaving Liverpool, with the attacking midfielder ‘expected to sign a three-year deal’.

Graham Potter would not be drawn on links with Lallana after their 2-1 win on the road at Burnley on Sunday.
“There’s a lot of names in the paper at this time of year but with the greatest respect I just speak about the guys at our club,” he said. “We’ll use the window to improve if we can find the right players but it would be unfair for me to comment on speculation.”
