Tottenham have registered their interest in Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, according to the player’s agent.
Spurs remain in the hunt to bolster their attacking options, with a deal for Marseille’s Georges-Kevin Nkoudou continuing to stall.
Calhanoglu, 22, has also been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid after impressing in the Bundesliga.
And his representative, Bektas Demirtas, told German publication Express: “It is true that Tottenham have registered their interest with me.”
The Turkey international made 31 appearances in the Bundesliga last term, scoring three times and registering five assists.
