Ainsworth starts a three-game ban after allegedly elbowing Lions defender Tony Craig but manager Gary Waddock has defended the former QPR man.
Waddock said: “Gareth is an honest player. He is aggressive, but he’s not the type of player to throw elbows.

Waddock remains without defender Leon Johnson (knee), Adam Hinshelwood (knee), Ian Westlake (ankle) and Matt Bloomfield (knee).
