Roma goalkeeper Alisson is ‘close’ to joining Real Madrid, though the two clubs are still negotiating a price.
Roma president James Pallotta says the deal is almost done, though reports in Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo suggest that Madrid are yet to match the offer from Liverpool, never mind Roma’s asking price.
Liverpool are said to have offered £57m for Alisson but the Brazilian was not interested in joining any club but Real Madrid.
They have since offered £48.2m with another £4.38m in add-ons, which is still some way short of Roma’s £70m valuation of the Brazilian No. 1.
Alisson has reportedly agreed terms on a six-year deal with Madrid.
