All the best tips on the Premier League 2016/17 season
Will we have another Leicester? Will anyone flop like Chelsea? And what shall we expect from Paul Pogba, the most expensive Premier League signing of all time?
As you all know by now, Leicester were 5000/1 to win the Premier League last season and you can’t have missed the stories about crazy fans with die hard optimism that had their money where their heart were, which made them happy in more than one way by the end of last season.
We can also see that the bookies looks to have learned a little lesson, proved in the way they’ve adjusted the odds on this year’s ‘David’ in the Premier League, where West Bromwich can be found at 1500/1.
Manchester City are the favourites to win the Premier League, even though I’d put their red rival of Manchester as the big Goliath after all their spending during the summer.
Pep Guardiola’s men did also struggle on the opening day, even though they then went to Romania and smashed Steaua Bucharest a couple of days later.
Manchester United on the other hand impressed with an easy win at Bournemouth with Zlatan Ibrahimovic marking his Premier League debut with a goal, copying that achievement from his debuts in La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1.
What makes it all even stronger is that Mourinho is taking it slowly with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who started on the bench, and he’s yet to involve Paul Pogba in the squad. So there’s some unfolded potential to introduce later on as well.
I can’t see us having another upset this season, not in the Premier League and nor in any of the other top leagues. My feeling is that this is the season where the big elephants instead is returning to their thrones.
Manchester City and Arsenal are the only two teams in Premier League to place themselves top four during all of the last three seasons but I have a feeling only one of them will stay there during this.
Having looked at the summer signings, pre-season and what the teams achieved during the opening day of the league, I think Manchester United will win the Premier League, with Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool competing for the spots below them.
So a few odds that could be well worth to look at ahead of the 16/17 campaign according to me can be found below.
Manchester United, Premier League Winners – 3/1
