Allegri wants total control at Juventus after Arsenal link

Juventus manager Max Allegri has reportedly asked for assurance that he will have full control over transfers before he commits to the Old Lady.

Allegri is on the verge of claiming a third consecutive Serie A title and has been strongly linked with a move to replace Arsene Wenger at the Emirates, though reports in Spain on Tuesday suggested he would be very keen to take over from Luis Enrique at Barcelona.

Italian newspaper  Il Tempo claims that Allegri will not sign his new £4.3m-a-year deal – which is roughly half the wage of Wenger at Arsenal – at Juventus unless he is given full control of the transfers and policies of the club.

He has reportedly given Juventus a March 31 deadline to decide whether they are willing to make those concessions to keep hold of Allegri.
