Marko Arnautovic has handed in a transfer request at Premier League side West Ham, according to reports.

The Austrian forward’s form slumped for the Hammers after trying to engineer a move to China in January, but he was back on track with three goals in the club’s last two matches of the season.

Arnautovic was handed a new contract to keep him happy, but his relationship with the Hammers supporters has turned sour.

And now Sky Sports claims that Arnautovic has ‘handed in a transfer request’ at West Ham with an offer made to the London side from an ‘unnamed Chinese side’.

West Ham rejected a bid of £35m in the January transfer window with Shanghai SIPG and Guangzhou Evergrande understood to be the sides battling for his signature at the time.

Former Werder Bremen striker Arnautovic has scored 22 goals in 65 appearances for the Hammers after joining from Stoke City in 2017.
