Wenger rules out signings; confirms triple injury boost
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has ruled out adding to his squad in the January transfer window and confirmed positive injury news for three of his first team players.
The Gunners have slipped to fourth in the Premier League standings after they lost their last two matches against Manchester City and Everton.
Despite being nine points off leaders Chelsea, Wenger is in no mood to strengthen his squad this January.
“We have plenty of options offensively,” he said, speaking at a press conference on Friday. “Defensively we are not in the need at the moment.”

Meanwhile, Danny Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey were back in full training on Friday following injuries.
On Welbeck, Wenger said: “He will return to training today which is very good news.
“Welbeck will need some time. Today is the first time he joins in with team training so I’m very cautious because you can have setbacks after being out for so long.”
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain suffered a nasty looking injury against City last weekend but Wenger confirmed it isn’t as bad as first feared.
“It’s not very bad. It’s a question of days rather than weeks,” the Frenchman added.
