Arsenal dealt another blow as striker ‘isn’t interested’ in move
According to reports, Real Sociedad star Alexander Isak “isn’t that interested in joining Arsenal” as he is a “bit cagey” about moving to the Premier League.
The Gunners are keen to sign a new striker and they have been chasing Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic throughout this transfer window.
A deal for the Serbian now looks dead in the water though as Arsenal are turning their attention to other targets.

Isak is said to be one of the strikers they are looking at. He has a release clause of around £75m.
The 22-year-old impressed for Sweden at last year’s European Championships and he has scored eight goals for Real Sociedad this season.
Journalist Dean Jones has now provided an update on Isak’s situation. He has revealed that the player is unsure whether a move to Arsenal is right for him:
“Alexander Isak, I’m told, isn’t actually that interested in joining Arsenal at the moment. Not necessarily just Arsenal, I think he’s a bit cagey about the Premier League generally,” Jones told The Football Terrace.
“And if he does come, he wants to be absolutely sure that it’s a good fit for him. Like Vlahovic, he’s sceptical that Arsenal is the right stepping stone for him at this moment in his career.”
Elsewhere, Bob Wilson and David Seaman are in agreement that Aaron Ramsdale should stop “publicly” criticising defenders who make a mistake.
“I would have one word with him at this moment to say, ‘You’re doing brilliantly Aaron. The save at Leicester was sensational, one of the great saves ever… but there is one thing you need to restrain from doing and that is definitely yelling so publicly to those in front of you who make a mistake’.”
Seaman added: “Good point. I totally agree. I had this code with my defence, we don’t shout at each other. If you make a mistake, we talk about it afterwards.
“He does need to be just a little bit aware. At the moment he’s not making mistakes. If he does make a mistake, then because he is having a go at his defenders. It gives them a right to have a go back at him. I don’t feel that gains anything on the pitch.”
Wilson continued: “It’s the only criticism I have of him. His distribution at the moment at times is amazing as well.
“I’m sort of in awe of him. Although I was admiring the way he has dealt with the Bournemouth and the Sheffield United situations, I could never have predicted that he would hit the ground running the way he has and been instrumental in Arsenal being in a fourth or fifth position.”
