Arsenal are sweating on Sokratis Papastathopoulos ahead of their Premier League clash with Leicester.

The centre-back was forced off at half-time during Greece’s 2-0 defeat to Finland in the Nations League.

According to reports in Greece, Sokratis suffered an ankle injury.

The summer signing will be assessed at London Colney upon his return from international duty.

If Sokratis is ruled out of the Monday Night Football meeting with Leicester at the Emirates, then Unai Emery is down to Rob Holding and Shkodran Mustafi as his only available centre-backs, with Laurent Koscielny and Konstantinos Mavrapanos sidelined.
