Arsenal keeper agrees terms with Besiktas – reports

David Ospina looks set to leave Arsenal after agreeing personal terms with Besiktas.

The Colombia goalkeeper was told he can quit the Emirates after Unai Emery signed Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen earlier in the summer.

Ospina has only a year left on his Gunners contract but the 29-year-old appears on the verge of a move for Turkey.

One stumbling block, however, could be the structure of the deal. Besiktas would reportedly prefer a loan initially but Arsenal would prefer to shift the keeper off their books permanently.

Besiktas were also said to be keen on Simon Mignolet, who has emerged as a target for Napoli.

Both keepers could yet move despite the Premier League window closing at 5pm. Foreign clubs have until the end of the month to sign new players.
