Arsenal outcast Torreira wanted by Italian trio and Valencia
Four clubs are hoping to sign Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira in the coming weeks, according to reports.
The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid after seeing his game time reduced at the Emirates.
There are rumours that Atletico want to terminate the loan, as it hasn’t been as successful as once hoped.

According to Spanish source AS (via Goal), three Italian clubs and Valencia want to take Torreira off Arsenal’s hands.
Lazio, Fiorentina and Torino are all rumoured to be chasing a transfer. They are joined by Valencia, who have been linked with plenty of midfielders this month.
Torreira is surplus to requirements under Mikel Arteta, which makes an exit highly likely.
It’s unclear at the moment whether a deal would involve a loan or a permanent fee.
Torreira has made just seven La Liga appearances since joining Atletico on loan in October.
He missed two matches after catching coronavirus in November. Since getting back to full fitness he’s spent plenty of time on the bench.
Torreira made a late appearance in the recent 2-0 victory over Sevilla. But coming on for just eight minutes isn’t in the interest of Torreira or Arsenal.
His place in the Atletico first team is being taken by standout performers Koke and Saul Niguez. Their form this season means Torreira will struggle to turn his fortunes around in the Spanish capital.
The Uruguayan could see his form improve in Serie A. He knows the league well, having made over 100 appearances in Italy during his time with Pescara and Sampdoria.
Arsenal paid £26 million for Torreira when they signed him in July 2018. Technical director Edu will want to recoup a large portion of that sum if they do sell him to one of the four interested clubs.
